Implementation
We appreciate that making any changes to a company’s pension provision can be a daunting proposition, which is why we have a full-time project management team. Our implementation managers understand the key factors which contribute to the successful installation of DC plans. They are experienced in handling the challenges associated with complex implementation processes and spend a considerable amount in preparation to ensure that the transition is as seamless as possible.
High level implementation plan
- Introductory meeting with our nominated implementation manager to finalise the plan design, the timeline and the service and communication requirements
- Preparation of a bespoke installation and communications project plan with key milestones, critical path analysis and responsibilities
- Regular reporting on progress towards milestones
- The implementation manager works with the employer to facilitate an efficient transition of member and contribution data and undertakes on-site payroll and administration training
- Production of pre-enrolment plan member material including plan booklet, streamlined application form, joining instructions, investment fund information
- Undertake internal training for our telephone support staff
- Design and deliver employee presentations, CD ROMs or 'train the trainer' workshops, as required
- Load members, request and receive first monthly contributions
- Review outstanding items
- Complete a post implementation review of the project
- Handover to Fidelity Relationship Director
